Raised by an actor (which was a lot like being raised by wolves),
Megon cut her teeth on Broadway show tunes, Barbra Streisand, Peter
Paul and Mary and James Brown. Then...at 10 years old, The Beatles
saved her life. She wrote her first song at age 11, (so naturally,
it was a love song) and won The WLS Big Break Contest at 14.
Her winnings included; big rock Gibson amps, Ludwig Drums, and
a recording contract with Mercury Records. She made her first
record at Universal Studios in Chicago at 14. Minnie Ripperton
was one of the back up vocalists. She's been singing, writing,
recording, touring and loving the journey ever since.
